A quick welcome to those of you who have just joined us. We talk mainly about peaceful parenting, unschooling, and the abolition of the state.
Wait? Abolition of the state? What’s that doing on a page devoted to freeing children?
It all melds together seamlessly, I think. We’re anti-violence, anti-coercion, and anti-force. The state, by its very nature, must use these tools to achieve its goals.
I realize not everyone sees it that way. But I can see it no other. If we want to free ourselves, if we want to free our children, then the state must go. Replace it with free people working together voluntarily, cooperating to solve problems.
We can do it. We can create this society. We can build a freer, more prosperous, more just world. We can have a peaceful world. We can all be free. But first, we must reject violence as a means to solve problems. And the state is the largest perpetrator of violence.
