Nobody asked but …
It seems odd that associates of one political party will regard members of opposing political parties as though they have character defects. Fair enough, they are humans therefore … defects. But one of the biggest defects, of course, is being a member of a political party at all. The phrase, “___________ party” works well with democrat, republican, libertarian, but it also works with communist, nazi, and know-nothing.
