The political left: “The so-called ‘experts’ who get paid by big corporations can’t be trusted! They’re just making up whatever results they need to in order to increase the wealth and power of their bosses!”
Also the political left: “The experts who get paid by the government can be trusted! They would never make stuff up just to increase the wealth and power of their bosses!”
P.S. What’s really weird is watching them try to figure out what position to have when huge pharmaceutical corporations team up with politicians to terrorize, rob and exploit the masses. Sadly, most leftists then magically decide that in that case, huge profit-driven corporations are suddenly noble and altruistic… because politicians said so.
