Does an act, rule, or policy violate someone else’s equal and identical rights? Does it make it harder for them to exercise their Rightful Liberty? If so, I’m against it. Even if it might seem to “help” me in some way.

Guns, Criminals, and The Mentally Deranged
Who gets to define “criminal” and “mentally deranged”? Or even “weapons”? I know– those same proven, unethical criminals of “government”, right?
Real Common Sense on Gun Control
Here’s how to judge the pragmatic case for gun control: if the pro-control lobby managed to have each of its favorite restrictions enacted, could we as individuals be more casual about our safety than we are today? The answer clearly is no. So what’s the point of the restrictions beyond letting their advocates feel good about themselves?
Censorship by Social Sanction is Douchey
We lovers of liberty overwhelmingly give an emphatic NO to the idea of political, ie. violent, reaction to speech. Political censorship is a grave injustice, in every case, no exceptions, in my opinion. But what about this other kind of censorship, by social sanction?
Why I Don’t Like Being “Ahead of My Peers”
I won’t lie – it’s nice to be told that you have a leg up. I’m a competitive person just like anyone else, so it’s great to hear that some of my life choices have put me “ahead.” But despite all of the ego gratification I get from being told that, there’s part of me that really doesn’t like the idea. Blaming the Victim, or Digging for Wisdom?
As a man dedicated to stopping the widespread abuse of children, I am very much an ally in this particular fight (“Me too.”). I don’t deserve to be attacked like this. They were wrong to do what they did, but they are not alone in carrying responsibility.
If Someone Chooses to Archate
One of the most common objections to a free society is that some won’t go along with the principles. Some people will choose to be bad guys. When this objection is brought up, the objector seems to believe no one has ever pointed this out before, and that this is the final nail in the coffin. That’s dumb.
Wake Up to the Fact of Your Own Agency
It starts with self-honesty. “My parents won’t let me do this, so I can’t” is a lie. The truth may be something like, “I want to do this but I’m unwilling to unless my parents keep funding my life.” The sooner you can admit to yourself what you’re really going after, the better.
Telephone Etiquette
What is going on? Have you encountered people who, in the middle of public places, hold their mobile phones out at crooked arm’s length, horizontally, while using the speaker feature, apparently max’ed?
Uniquity I
You are unique, now and throughout time, past, present, and future. Your replica could happen, but for all practical purposes, it never has and never will. Therefore, you have the natural right to be recognized for what you are, free and unique. You also have an equal degree of responsibility.
