Does it Matter Who’s at Fault? The Responsibility is Always Yours
I’m reading Mark Manson’s “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck,” and the entirety of Chapter 5 is focused on this idea: “There is a simple realization from which all personal improvement and growth emerges. I Haven’t Stopped Playing: How Childhood Play Can Make Your Work Life Better
All my play and all my imitation of my fictional heroes ironically prepared me for the sober reality of the working world. They taught me the value of being brave. They taught me how to put up with pain with a sense of humor and resilience. They showed me how to find creative solutions, tell stories, and inspire people.
Peaceful Anarchism 020 – Suffering is the Greatest Teacher (7m)
Peaceful Anarchism 020, “Many of us tend to shy away from and avoid suffering, hardship, and pain. It is only natural since our bodies are constructed to desire pleasure and shun discomfort. It is our biological imperative. Nevertheless, sometimes it becomes necessary to override our limbic system base desires in order to attain a nobler goal.”
