On Government Parasitism
A clever and effective parasite will not only feed on its host as long as possible, but will do so in such a way that removing it will be fatal. As long as the parasite can stretch its tendrils into the most vulnerable places of its host, the host will be forced to sustain it if it wants to remain alive. The analogy that government is a parasite is oft made by libertarian types, and for very good reason.
If It Works for the Opt-ins, It Works for the Opt-outs
If you’re going to be an advocate of philosophies like “be true yourself” and “don’t compare yourself to others” and “as long as you’re happy with your life, don’t have any regrets,” just make sure you don’t arbitrarily move the goal post when you run into someone who meets all those conditions without being a participant in tradition schooling.

It is not orchestrated by a linear, sequential curriculum determining how, when, and in what ways a human will learn. It is not pre-determined. It is not forced.
