Money provides such an advantage over barter, that it is indispensable for a functioning economy today. Modern civilization has been accustomed to a government or pseudo-government entity creating and maintaining a money supply. Indeed, these currencies have dominated the economy across the globe throughout living memory. Recently, cryptocurrencies have been on the rise, but they are far from replacing dollars, pounds, and yuan. In a truly free society, how would money be provided for the economy?

Child Sacrifice: “Everyone Does It”
Kinderprison is child sacrifice to the god of the State. Even if their bodies survive, their minds are less likely to. Almost no one escapes without at least some mind damage after going through “public school.”
Using Mob Rule to Bypass Due Process
If you value civility and peace, and desire to avoid costly and violent conflict with other people, you would do well to respect and apply due process in situations that require it. Since I value and desire these things, I am committed to respecting due process in every way that I can. Unfortunately though, not many else are.
The Opposite of a Polite Society
An armed society is a polite society. An unarmed “society” isn’t a real society at all.
Episode 079 – Unschooled Faber Brothers’ Journey (1h37m)
Episode 079 welcomes Justin and Joshua Faber to the podcast to chat with Skyler and Morgan. The Faber Brothers, and several other siblings, grew up as de facto unschoolers, without ever knowing that term. Topics include: their large family, their Facebook video series titled All This with Aldous created with Morgan, growing up unschooling, their experience learning to read, being free range on several acres of forest, going to high school and the surreality of schooling, why school is prison, the origins of their voluntaryist political beliefs, the US Constitution, and much, much more.
The Media Can’t Be Trusted
It absolutely astounds me that anyone believes the media tells the truth. The media is nothing more than the public relations department of the state, and every story (from the tales of local constables rounding up farmers and entrepreneurs in the “war on drugs” to the stories of courageous warriors “protecting our freedom” through the mass slaughter known as the “war on terror”) are all designed to mollify the fears and concerns of the gutless sheep who refuse to recognize their true enemy.
Bully-Proofing Won’t Work Until We Give Kids More Freedom
Children who are bullied in school have very few choices and very little recourse. Required by law to attend an assigned public school, many children and their parents have minimal agency to withdraw from a bullying scenario. Some parents will look for alternative schooling options for their bullied children, like private schools, charter schools, online schools, or homeschooling. But for many families, these choices are not available or accessible.
Must Be Absolute
We can have cheap prices for a scarce commodity and its sudden disappearance as everyone uses it up, or we can have higher prices that make it available to those willing to pay for it. There is nothing in between.
Incentives, not Motives or Training
I saw an infuriating video of police arresting a nurse who refused to draw a patients blood at their request. Comments on Twitter included a lot of, “Why are police so nasty and brutish?”, and most responses were, “They need better training and to be nicer.” Nope.
The Person Who Kills Millions is a National Hero
Are you ever struck by the number of ultra-criminal individuals — people who have great amounts of blood on their hands — who are not only not in prison, not only permitted to move about freely in society, but are treated as decent individuals and, on some occasions, feted as great and honorable ones?
