Lately, I have been seeing a number of references to what “a libertarian” would think or do. An example is “would a libertarian support Israel?” But this blog is not about Israel or foreign policy, it is about the far more universal vice of labeling. One of the real problems with labeling is the ad…

Peaceful Travelers II
Nobody asked but … The firestorm on immigration mounts. Although kindled by Obama, the colossal amount of ignorance fans the flame. Today I heard someone say the phrase “illegal aliens.” First of all the term, “alien,” is a tortured concept, and since it can only emanate from a territory, an entirely fictional concept, it is…
Re: Peaceful Travelers

There are many phrases built with the word “law” in them to create an impression that we are in the soft and warm embrace of a creature for humane conduct. I’m talking about phrases such as “the rule of law” which means essentially whatever catch-22 the prosecutors plan to pursue. On Friday’s Scott Horton Show,…

Is their crime among the worst that can be committed? I give a resounding “NO!” in answer to both questions. In fact, I consider “illegals” to be the best residents a country can have. Here’s why.

Immigration and Freedom
Written by Andrew Napolitano, as published at LewRockwell.com. The right to travel is an individual personal human right, long recognized under the natural law as immune from governmental interference. Of course, governments have been interfering with this right for millennia. The Romans restricted the travel of Jews; Parliament restricted the travel of serfs; Congress restricted…
