Government directives to do evil (whether by commission or omission) do not override our conscience and our understanding of right and wrong. I favor agoristic obviation of government institutions. I support voluntary alternatives to government services as much as I can and continue to encourage government institutions to reduce and eliminate their restrictions on our freedoms.

UBI Proposals Prove Welfare Critics Have Been Right All Along
If there is anything positive to be said about the growing chorus of voices advocating a “Universal Basic Income” or UBI, it’s that the long-term critics of the welfare state have at last been proven correct. The flowery language of “safety nets” and “a hand up, not a handout” has always been a lie, and the proof is indisputable in this latest notion.
Lessons from Building Praxis – Part 11
There’s a fatal flaw in your plan. Your business model, or market, or pricing, or something about your crazy idea is going to stop you dead in your tracks. Of course. That’s probably why no one else has done it yet. Or maybe that’s why you’re going to succeed where they failed.
Chafing Against the Law
This singular pursuit has been my solitary area of participation in the political process. I’ve given Libertas my hard earned money in the past because of the success I have seen from their efforts. Unfortunately, the parasites and predators that are government actors have continued to push back against these successes, unsurprisingly.
Public Choice Analysis a Scheme for Imposing Racist Oligarchy on the USA? Preposterous!
The claim that public choice analysis is intended to, or actually does, assist the rich in dominating the poor, or the capitalists in dominating the workers, or the whites in dominating the blacks cannot be made in good faith by anyone who has the slightest familiarity with public choice analysis.
Meaningful Learning Is Just-in-Time, Not Just-in-Case
Average people learn what they need to avoid pain. Elite people learn what they need to get the grade, ace the test, win the award, gain certification, impress people, and obtain honors. Ascendant people don’t care about accolades or awards or tests or stickers or stars. They learn exactly what’s needed to solve a problem that matters to them, exactly when it’s needed. No more, no less. No sooner, no later.
Fawning Over a Corporation to Protect Us from Corporations
It’s always struck me as extremely odd that leftists fawn over using government to protect us from corporations. What do they think the government is? The fawning is quite indicative of their ignorance in at least ten ways.
Save Us from the Voters
Even worse than the if-you-don’t-vote crowd are the it’s-your-duty bunch. And then you have the voting-should-be-compulsory mavens (and what a fine premise for the land of the free [irony alert]!)
The Facts on Government
Group A’s primary activity is to force Group B to pay them, and then proceed to return a portion of the ill-gotten gains back to Group B in order to keep them from realizing the long con, and revolting.
Government School is Child Abuse, Chapter: Too Many to Count
The evidence is growing that school hurts kids. Homework is another issue that is only an issue because people don’t want to let go of an institution that they have been led to believe is “necessary,” “helpful,” and “useful.” Just like past forms of slavery. Let it go already.
