While we can speculate endlessly about what private entities might arise in the aftermath of the state’s abolition, such speculation has little chance of accurately capturing the diversity and depth of an unbridled free market.

Government Should Be a Servant
Government is simply people coming together, under unanimously consensual rules, to get things done. It is never mandatory. Government, if done right, might even help protect the life, liberty, and property of the individuals who voluntarily join together. The state, on the other hand, is always anti-social; the more powerful it becomes, the weaker society gets.
They Are The Enemy
Can’t we all just get along? If you advocate the initiation of violence against innocents, then no, we can’t. And you are why we can’t, because you are the one condoning aggression.

Has Trump Been Good for Libertarianism?
I saw someone post that Trump is the most libertarian president and there was a long thread of people debating this. I think this idea is super wrong, and likely a hard stance to defend. I don’t think any of my friends would take the challenge to try to defend Trump as a libertarian president. That being said. I think I will make a post of why I believe Trump provides the presidency that libertarians should love the most since, at least Nixon, but probably since Grover Cleveland.
On Poverty
Is poverty the default state of mankind? In one sense, yes, but in another sense, no. Yes, everyone is born naked and penniless. Then, through gift, trade, and production we build wealth. Some build a lot, others a little.
Proglodytes and Conservatrolls
That’s what I see all around me when I look at how people interact with each other. Of course, the simpler name for proglodytes and conservatrolls would be “statists”, but that just leaves them staring at you with no comprehension in their dull eyes. Most don’t understand that word any better than they’d understand the more fun descriptive terms.
The Criminalization of Hate Crimes
If hate crimes are going to be an enforceable legal category, wouldn’t it make sense to recognize people who are impelled by statism to commit wrongs — that is, to support or carry out the government’s business as usual — as having committed hate crimes?

I’ve seen statists try to hide behind so many labels– patriot, Republican, Democrat, Christian, atheist, libertarian, anarchist… just about any label they can use to hide the truth of what they are at their heart. It doesn’t even matter that, in the case of “libertarian” and “anarchist”, the labels and their statism are at odds.

Justin Faber, who I had a chat with on the podcast and has published at EVC, wrote recently, “You: Open borders are incompatible with a welfare state. Me: A welfare state is incompatible with open borders.” And therein lies the difference between libertarian types who disagree on the borders question.
