Among the numerous fallacies embraced by socialism, one of the most notable is completely ignoring the value of investment and risk. Socialists love to talk about the value of “labor” and how profit is made on the backs of “labor,” but they ignore the fundamentals of human nature and of how the market actually works.

Why All The Socialism?
I’ve been listening to someone who deeply believes in government. Believes it has the best interest of the people at heart. Believes it has a place in society. Believes it is necessary and usually good, even if it sometimes messes up. It’s painful for me. The mental gymnastics it takes to believe such nonsense staggers my mind. It’s disappointing because I usually enjoy listening to Scott Adams, but his recent socialism kick is extremely misguided and dishonest.
Has Trump Been Good for Libertarianism?
I saw someone post that Trump is the most libertarian president and there was a long thread of people debating this. I think this idea is super wrong, and likely a hard stance to defend. I don’t think any of my friends would take the challenge to try to defend Trump as a libertarian president. That being said. I think I will make a post of why I believe Trump provides the presidency that libertarians should love the most since, at least Nixon, but probably since Grover Cleveland.

Democracy is horrible. It is mob rule made “socially acceptable”. Socialism is horrible. It is the attempt to make a society stand on a foundation of envy, theft, parasitism, and entitlement. Who could possibly imagine that combining these two nasty concepts could make something good?
Astute Socialists Opt for Participatory Fascism in Practice
By opting for participatory fascism, they can get the bulk of what they seek, by means of pervasive regulation, heavy taxation, and floods of government spending, while allowing the fettered capitalists enough room for maneuver that they keep the economy from going straight to hell.
