I gave up watching cable news long ago — I believe it was during the first Bush Jr administration, just after the beginning of the failing War on Terror.  The lack of information due to overemployment in the media sector and the resultant rise in partisanship rendered the “news” useless.

Only paying attention to things like the fictional war being cooked up for Ukrainia.

As I hoped to have implied in my last post, I feel there are far too many instances of speculation in our culture. The mechanics of infantile learning feed into a vicious feedback loop.

So, tell me how it’s going to be, Please, when I grow up

I recently discovered a list of 10 important poets who also wrote important novels.  I then researched important quotes from each which indicate how they may feel about personal freedom and self-direction.

There were always people wanting to disarm the public. That’s why we have a second amendment as well as a constant assault on it.

Congratulations!  We have made it into the history books with 80 consecutive years of official lying about one of the most important turning points in our history.
