I can’t respect those who believe your rights and liberty are subject to their opinions (which they’ll call laws), and who back their opinions with threats of violence (known as law enforcement). I don’t understand this type of thinking.

Prosperity: Maybe Not What I Thought It Meant
I’ve always thought of “prosperity” as having an abundance of material wealth, and that seems to be consistent with popular usage. However, my thinking here has been going through some changes lately.
Defining Anti-Semitism, Threatening Free Speech
In May the benign-sounding Anti-Semitism Awareness Act appeared before the U.S Congress “to provide for consideration a definition of anti-Semitism for the enforcement of Federal antidiscrimination laws concerning education programs or activities.” No big deal? The Scum of the Earth
Many people say that one ought to respect the law even when it is senseless, destructive, and vicious. This claim is prima facie nonsense.

Members of the first group adore the reasoning process and their own reasoning faculties. The others find the process burdensome and discomforting, something that threatens long-held beliefs and intuitions.
The Difference That Makes The Difference
You can make a much greater impact by hitting the gym or hitting the books than you can by hammering the doubters and naysayers in your life with long-winded arguments.
The Scum of The Earth
Many people say that one ought to respect the law even when it is senseless, destructive, and vicious. This claim is prima facie nonsense. The nonsense is even more palpable when one understands how laws are made and the kind of people who make them.
Cheap Tricks and Parenting Hacks
I’m not a fan of most parenting hacks or special ways to phrase stuff. Your kids can tolerate no. Your kids don’t need to be coddled or manipulated into cooperation. You shouldn’t practice slight of hand and try to distract them or focus on positivity or something.
