Every time there’s a mass shooting, or even a particularly well-publicized single homicide, all of America’s political factions go directly to battle stations on the question of whether or not the violence can be reduced or eliminated with “gun control” legislation. As the debate rages on, the calls begin to ring out from different corners that whatever else we do, we must avoid “politicizing” the issue. Have you ever noticed that the “let’s not get political” talk always seems to emanate from the side that perceives itself as on the losing end of the argument at the moment?

School Shootings
The idea that appeals to me the most is to disperse the public schools. Let people, who will, educate themselves. Let’s stop bunching them together in shooting arcades.
I Want School Shooters to Die
Not by lethal injection or other types of ritual revenge, but in the act. Killed by an armed bystander. And I want it to happen every single time. I want them to die. Those who advocate “gun control” are on the side of the murderers who I want to die. They are protecting the bad guys.
Why It Matters Whodunit
On reflection, though, whodunit is tremendously important. Why? Because in our society, the routine reaction to mass murder is to try to punish millions of innocent people. In a just society, mass murderers’ group identity wouldn’t matter.

Like Clockwork, Striking Invisible Branches
Devin Kelley murdered 26 innocent people yesterday (November 5th) as they sat in church peacefully worshipping their god. Like clockwork, gun control advocates are out in full force. But gun culture in America is not an issue. What is the issue? Both the current mass murder and previous assaults were committed by a very broken person.
Who’s Responsible?
If you sell a car and some time later the guy you sold it to (or someone he sold it to) uses that car to plow into a group of kindergarteners, injuring hundreds and killing a bunch of them, should you or your insurance cover the medical and funeral expenses?
