The biggest problem with the often-cavalier way citizens and lawmakers suggest regulating homeschoolers – who receive no public money but still pay local property taxes to fund schools – is that it is an invasion of privacy and a violation of due process.

Imagine…
Imagine a world where people don’t kill each other over disagreements about how their imaginary friend is worshiped, or how the holy symbols of the imaginary friend are treated.
A Crowdfunding Proposal: UFOs Deserve Better and More Public Investigation
Among the public, opinion on UFOs runs the gamut from belief that the whole idea is a product of fevered imaginations to conviction that Earth is frequently visited by extraterrestrial beings possessed of technologies beyond our ken. Freedom–I Won’t
There are some things I simply won’t voluntarily do. I won’t participate in Nazi/socialist rituals, even if everyone around me gets bent out of shape by my refusal. Trump & Co.’s Vile Anti-Immigrationism
It should not be the government’s prerogative to define and ensure immigrants’ “success” and assimilation. We have zero reason to be confident in the ability of politicians and bureaucrats to predict success, however defined.
SESTA/FOSTA: The Real Internet Censorship Threat
Conscripting blog platform operators, newspaper comment moderators, and ad brokers as unpaid government censors is both evil in itself and bound to produce the opposite of the result SESTA/FOSTA’s sponsors claim they want.
Peaceful Coexistence is Possible
Instead of getting caught up in the minor differences between the two major political parties, focus on freedom. No one should be hurt or robbed or locked in a cage. No one deserves to be victimized by the state.
