There’s a phenomenon I’ve noticed with kids. When I tell them something they didn’t already know, they often respond with “No!” They don’t even take time to consider what I’ve said; just reject it automatically.

White Guilt, Technology and the State, & School Shootings (23m) – Editor’s Break 086
Editor’s Break 086 has Skyler giving his commentary on the following topics: why he shouldn’t have to apologize for the misbehavior of other white people today or in the past; how technology is necessary to make the state obsolete and bring about a free society; “gun free zones” are really “self-defense prohibited zones” and why the school shooting narratives are all wrong; and more.
Want Power?, Obey Parents?, Contentious Politics, & Self-Defense (28m) – Editor’s Break 084
Editor’s Break 084 has Skyler giving his commentary on the following topics: why does anybody desire power?; why should you or should you not obey your parents?; why politics is always contentious; whether defending yourself from an attack by a police officer is justified and wise; and more.
Band-Aid Solutions Are Lame and Nature is the Answer
The violations that plague us don’t come out of thin air one day. It is the result of the culmination of traumas inflicted onto us from day one (and actually before, while we are still in the womb) of entering into a world that profits and runs off of others people’s trauma. We literally live and operate in a place that is rooted in trauma and carries out traumatizing rituals on its most vulnerable people. So long as we passively accept these cultural narratives and practices, we cannot and should not expect better from our society.
This Job Is Going To Be Legendary: How Archetypes Keep Showing Up In Work

Standing Up for Liberty Isn’t Political
You have no obligation to tolerate those trying to stop you from doing what you have a right to do. You have no obligation to play politics in self-defense. Why march or v*te for your rights? Just exercise them.
The Right to be Left Alone
You don’t have a right to be supplied goods and services. You do have a right to engage in voluntary commerce. I have a right to be left alone. When you attempt to force me to fund your consumption, you are violating my rights. When I refuse to go along with your scheme, I’m defending my rights, not violating yours.
Violence
Self-defense or defense of property can be violent but isn’t aggressive since the other party “started it” by initiating force or violating property rights.
The Philosophical Toolbox
I’m not saying that philosophy as a whole is without contradiction, however through years of weeding through different philosophies and theories I was able to find what works best for me. A collection of tools with which anyone can use to truly test whether an idea, concept, law, or edict is just, fair, and equitable. In no particular order I’d like to present a few of the tools I use use when trying to make a consistent, rational, and logical judgement or claim.
Scott Adams on Guns
It is in every decent person’s self-interest to encourage gun ownership for everyone. Even if I go crazy and try to kill an innocent person, and they shoot me in self-defense, I completely support their right to do so. Maybe knowing they are armed would help keep me sane, or scare me into not attacking them even if I go nuts.
