We aren’t in zero-sum relationships, we can get what we desire while other people get what they desire. It is people who suffer from the most abuse who often have the worst boundaries and regard for themselves.

On Social Media
I can’t for the life of me figure out why or how social media companies like Facebook and Twitter have any obligation to ensure that government elections remain “pure” or unadulterated.
Shame and Bully People
One thing I dislike about people who discuss social justice and other such ideas is that they are merely trying to shame and bully people into having a singular idea regarding certain complex social concepts. This runs extremely contrary to how I think the world should run. It feels very socially and emotionally tyrannical.
How Not to Solve Problems
My nature is such that I simply can’t see government as a solution to anything. This puts me at odds with most of the rest of my species.
Suffering and Triumph
I’m not trying to say not to care about others, learn from others, and understand the world from what happens to others. Rather I’m addressing how many people validate a dark view of the world by only letting dark things process through their minds.
An Arm of The State
Imagine an ostensibly independent source of information, constantly bombarding the public, that ceaselessly fans the fires of fear and group hatred. Could anything be of greater use to the government as it seeks to mislead and thus control people?
Tolerance, Approval are Different Things
There are things I don’t approve of but don’t have the right to stop others from doing. I may tolerate these behaviors for my own peace of mind while doing what I can to protect myself; including self-defense when necessary.
Shouting Matches Between Nincompoops
Go back fifty years or so, and you can find news that was, to some extent, actually news: you know, more or less factual answers to the classic journalistic questions: what, who, when, where, and how. I’m not sure exactly when the change happened, but at some point the news became entertainment.
America the Intelligent
Americans specifically rejected the monastic organization of the European courts. For their troubles, I am sure they were labelled as “anti-intellectuals,” “country bumpkins,” and “the fringe of civilization.”
Like a Law of Nature, Government is Entropy
Government is social entropy; a sign that something is breaking. Just like physical entropy, unless you actively work to reverse it in your area, it increases.
