Editor’s Break 008 has Skyler answering the question, “Is taxation theft?” His answer is yes, and the reason is very simple. If you can’t prove with facts and evidence that someone owes you money, then they don’t owe you money, or any other consideration. This is as true for people calling themselves “government” as it is for everyone else.

Editor’s Break 005 is a look at the recent report by Oxfam that 8 billionaires have as much wealth as the poorest 3.6 billion people on Earth. Skyler examines why being wealthy may be a problem, but not necessarily, and how best to decrease wealth inequality.

Editor’s Break 003 is a look at the fallout from the Brian Banks rape case from a few years ago. Skyler gives a little history on the case that saw Brian Banks exonerated for the kidnapping and rape of Wanetta Gibson. He looks at the concept of justice from a couple different perspectives, and also takes a peak into the cause of our desire for retribution from wrongdoers.

Editor’s Break 002 is an exploration of the concept of political consent as it concerns both taxation and being bombed by predator drones. Skyler posted on Facebook the following, “People staying in an area with taxation means they consent. People staying in an area with drone bombings means they consent.” An invalid equivalency? Perhaps, or perhaps not.
