I think I am a better choir director than I am a pest control businessman. However, I make much more as a businessman because the market forces at work value a good businessman more than a great music director. Even if I am better at one task, I am more valuable to people’s subjective preferences at another.

Portray a Sense of Confidence
You won’t feel subject to their ideology, and the religious person won’t believe it is appropriate to use their values and beliefs in any way to distort the situation. They will often respect the difference and no one will feel feelings of inferiority/superiority.
Teasing, or Being an Asshole?
Teasing is a very delicate and almost odd activity. It can be used as a means of strengthening a relationship and having a good time, but it also is used as a veneer to jerk people around. Sometimes we even think it is one while it is kind of another, and the hardest thing to analyze is when it is truly both at the same time.
False Narratives, Propaganda, and Political Tribalism
In 2013 people rose up around the world to oppose the war in Syria being promoted by Obama, Clinton, Kerry, many European leaders and maybe most obviously, the neocons. Since then, the war slowly squeezed its way into existence anyway gradually though apathy, propaganda, and other bullshit.
The Changes in Culture
I think we recognize “renegades” because they are the ones who often seem to trigger the changes in society. However, I think this is only the visible representation of something deeper.
That Feeling of Desperation
It is hard to write out the extent of loneliness you feel as a little child who has to deeply beg outside your parents door to sleep with them while the door is locked and they have convinced themselves that ignoring you is the best option.
ADD is Probably a Farce
Most people who are said to have ADD, dyslexia, and other learning impediments really have a problem conforming to a flawed system that have instilled anxiety and haven’t captured their interest.
The Value of Skipping Time
I think many people forget the intense boredom of schooling. I think they forget their feelings of being treated like an inferior. Too often it is just false/ingrained narratives and flashes of memorable positive moments that remain of people’s idea of schooling.
Kids Who Aren’t There
Before the 90s, kids first started going out to play unsupervised at some point between 5-8 years old. Today this has changed to 10-16 years old. I was just considering how this happens. You probably don’t need 100% of people to agree on the change. In fact, you probably only need a small minority.
Exercising Power Based on a Whim
Teachers, parents and other central planners decide certain aspects of how people, usually children, are treated. People like to think these people are objective, considerate, and have a sense of justice in how they treat people. When a person believes that this person of authority violated their implied objectivity, consideration, or sense of justice … it will often come in the form of telling them that they aren’t being fair.
