Hardwired Grammar

Nobody asked but …

A good friend and spontaneous order guru shared an article on why humans have grammar — it seems to be hardwired.  I think this is implicit also in theories of natural order. We understand ideas by connecting their components serially. If the first order is position, then the second is direction. Everything has a position, and cannot share that space-time address with other things. Meaning arises from proceeding from one thing to the next, establishing direction as being between two things. Each thing in the relationship must be chosen, one at a time. The need for communication requires that words be selected in an order that supports communication. That order, the grammar, is chosen among the communicants by trial and error.  BTW, for those who disbelieve anarchy, who is the ruler of grammar?
