Better Ingredients, Better Pizza

Nobody asked but …

I don’t like Papa John’s pizza.  And I don’t like the University of Louisville Cardinals (I’m hoping to drift back inside the pale now that Chris Mack is there).  So don’t come here looking for objectivity.

But objectively, I wonder why a guy who is a CEO and Chair of the Board, a guy who made his company famous by affilating with sports franchises, would use the n-word, even for informational purposes, even to make a point.

We cannot escape it.  This country tolerated legal slaveholding for nearly a century, and cockeyed civil rights for more than another century, and stupid prejudices still for 6 more decades.

The n-word, and racial memes, persist because people insist on continuing their use.  Why?
