School Shootings

Nobody asked but …

Let’s try to work our way through this again.  So far we have not come up with a solution.

Gun control laws have not worked.  We have passed reams of gun control statutes and ordinances, yet the problem of school shootings persists.

Mental health screenings don’t work. To paraphrase, “all of the people are insane some of the time, and some of the people are insane all of the time, but all of the people are not insane all of the time.”  Now figure out who, what, where, and when.  What could go wrong?

The idea that appeals to me the most is to disperse the public schools.  Let people, who will, educate themselves.  Let’s stop bunching them together in shooting arcades.
