The narrative of division—whether based on race, religion, class, or something else—is actually strengthened when we attempt to silence opinions we find offensive or erroneous.

A “Red Flag” for Your Rights; Yes, They’re Coming for Your Guns
The latest scheme from the gun grabbers is called “red flag” laws and, unlike most their other schemes, even nominally conservative pundits and publications are getting on board with this attempt to disarm certain people. That’s the trick, you see, the classic divide-and-conquer strategy that has worked in so many other cases. They don’t want to take away your guns, oh no, they just want to take away that guy’s guns. He’s kind of weird, anyway, right?
Life Requires Labor, Either Your Own or Someone Else’s
The real distinction is between those who sustain their own existence and those whose existence is sustained by the labor of others. The latter category can be subdivided into those whose lives are sustained through the voluntary labor of others (i.e. charity) and those whose lives are sustained through coercion, force, violence, and theft.
Because They are Criminals
The majority of government “services” don’t need to exist at all. Those for which organic demand exists would be fulfilled by the market in the absence of the state. Nothing good would go away because government did, but many horrible things would come to an end.
Freedom Begins in the Mind
There is no such thing as a ‘free country’ or a ‘free state’ because freedom is not an attribute of a country or a state. There are free individuals and a group of free individuals could comprise a free society, but freedom is fundamentally incompatible with centralized or even external governance. Stop wasting your time trying to create a free country and focus on actually being free.
The Right to be Left Alone
You don’t have a right to be supplied goods and services. You do have a right to engage in voluntary commerce. I have a right to be left alone. When you attempt to force me to fund your consumption, you are violating my rights. When I refuse to go along with your scheme, I’m defending my rights, not violating yours.
The Great War Against Liberty
Benjamin Franklin once said, “There never was a good war, or a bad peace,” but he could just as accurately have noted that there never was a good state… Because every state will always be at war with anyone who desires freedom, liberty, and independence.
Sitting on the Sidelines is No Longer an Option
I believe we are nearing a watershed moment in human history. We will either break our chains and free ourselves once and for all or we will squander this opportunity, surrender our arms, and accept our enslavement as a permanent condition.
Both Sides of the Vaccination Debate are Correct… and Incorrect
If both sides would strive to acknowledge the respective risks or rewards recognized by the other side, this acrimonious vaccination debate might be elevated to an enlightening discussion from which we all could benefit. I can’t say I’m terribly optimistic about this outcome, though, as it doesn’t seem to be anyone’s primary objective right now.
The Worst Education System
Public schools are the worst education system imaginable. In addition to the trillions of dollars which are stolen to fund such a monstrosity, the curriculum itself is statist brainwashing beginning with the earliest forms of pre-kindergarten.
